Job summary

SUEZ in the Philippines seeks a Design Engineer to study and design water treatment units for Tender or Execution stages. You will produce 3D/2D models, drawings and diagrams, ensuring quality and adherence to project schedules under the guidance of a Senior IP Engineer and Design Leader.

You will model civil works, structures, equipment, pipes and cable trays, interpret PFD/PID diagrams, and ensure safety and BIM requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit and E3D.
• Able to work autonomously and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design water treatment facilities according to the plant process.
• Model in 2D/3D including civil works, structures, equipment, pipes/ducts and cable trays.
• Produce plans to support proposals or project execution under supervision.
• Interpret PFD/PID diagrams and modify piezometric lines as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomics rules and meet deadlines.
• Perform self-checks to produce error-free drawings.
• Comply with BIM requirements specified by the client.
• Use Autodesk 3D Revit and other drafting software as required.
• Prepare piping and material BOQs under supervision.
• Follow up construction site needs and update shop drawings and as-built records.
• Potential to become Senior IP Engineer in the future.
• Willing to undergo training on company software S.

The Designengineerworks on the study and design of water treatment units in Tender or Execution. Heis in charge ofthe production ofthe 3D digital models,the 2Ddrawingsanddiagrams of theproject or proposal. The designengineeris the guarantor of the quality of his studies and the follow-up of the production schedule with the support of a Senior I&P Engineer and/or Design Leader.

Significant activities:

• Design water treatment facilities according to the plants process.
• Model in 2D/3D, civil engineering works, structures, equipment, pipes/ductsand cable trays.
• Produce plans for the winning of the proposal or the execution of the project under the supervisionof andSenior I&P Engineer and/or Design Leader.
• Understand,interpretand carry out PFD/PID diagrams.
• Understand andmodifya piezometric line.
• Ensure compliance with safety andergonomicsrules.
• Meetdeadlines.
• To doautocheck of produced drawingin order toissue document free of error.
• Comply withthe BIM requirements required by the Client.
• To work using Autodesk 3D Revit and any other company draftingsoft.
• To produce Piping andmaterialBOQ under supervision ofSenior I&P Engineer.
• To follow up with construction siteneed.
• To update shop drawing andAsbuilt.
• Can become in futureSenior IP Engineer.
