Job summary

Emapta Philippines in Ortigas is seeking an Insolvency Analyst to support Australia’s professional services firm in financial recovery efforts. You will conduct investigations, prepare statutory reports, and liaise with ASIC, creditors, and stakeholders.

1–3 years insolvency experience is required; CPA preferred. You will join a global network with mentorship, growth opportunities, and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce (Accounting) or Law with an interest in insolvency.
• 1–3 years of insolvency and financial recovery experience, including insolvency risk assessment and asset realization strategies; ASIC liaison experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare receipt authorities, payment authorities, day-one investigation letters, statutory forms, and letters of demand.
• Conduct investigations for assigned insolvency engagements.
• Support trade-on operations for businesses under administration.
• Perform stocktakes of company goods and assets.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
• Prepare statutory reports for creditors and other stakeholders.
• Draft correspondence and serve as the primary point of contact for creditors, employees, directors, and other stakeholders.
• Support the realization of assets for companies and individuals.
• Analyze company financial statements and financial positions.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce (major in Accounting), or Law with an interest in insolvency
• 1 to 3 years of experience in insolvency and financial recovery, including insolvency risk assessment and asset realization strategiesExperience liaising with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team

Preferred

• CPA or equivalent professional certification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
