Job summary

Shopee Philippines is seeking a Business Intelligence/Data Analytics professional to develop ad hoc analyses, capture cross‑department requirements, and support BI reporting infrastructure. You will drive data metric standardization, liaise with BI engineers, and explore automation opportunities to deliver actionable insights for business impact.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1 year of experience, and strong Excel/SQL skills; Python knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related quantitative field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL skills.
Knowledge in Python is a plus.
Detail-oriented with proven project management skills.
Open to flexible arrangements during campaign/peak seasons.

Responsibilities

Develop ad hoc analyses or reports and communicate insights to business teams.
Capture requirements through interviews with other departments and collaborate on reporting/data projects.
Provide support to BI reporting infrastructure and assist users in finding information.
Develop new and update existing reports.
Standardize data metrics by leveraging data and business process knowledge.
Liaise between Shopee PH and BI engineers to ensure proper definitions of requirements.
Identify opportunities for automation using different technologies.
Learn and develop new processes to improve reporting tools and systems.
Manage SLAs of third-party companies.
