Wing Assistant is seeking a hands-on Inside Sales Manager to own the follow-up and mid-funnel layer of our inbound sales engine. You will lead this function, strengthen the systems and processes behind it, coach the team, and ensure every qualified opportunity is managed with discipline and urgency.

This builder’s role includes establishing stronger sales standards through coaching and performance management, with a modern tech stack and clear revenue targets tied to your leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in inside sales, sales development, revenue operations, or a similar commercial role.
• At least 2 years managing or coaching a sales team.
• Proven experience improving follow-up, pipeline conversion, show rates, or sales cycle performance.
• Strong understanding of inbound sales funnels, lead management, and mid-funnel conversion.
• Experience coaching sales reps on discovery, objection handling, urgency, and deal progression.
• Ability to review sales calls, identify performance gaps, and provide actionable feedback.
• Hands-on experience building sales sequences across email, chat, SMS, or other follow-up channels.
• Strong CRM discipline and experience with HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Comfortable using data to diagnose funnel problems, set targets, and manage performance.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work Pacific Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inbound follow-up team (SDRs and Sales Associates) and coach performance.
• Hire as the team scales and conduct regular 1:1s.
• Own the pairing model between Sales Associates and Account Executives.
• Set cadence standards, ownership rules, and CRM hygiene expectations.
• Oversee onboarding and ramp-up for all new sales hires.
• Design, write, and A/B test follow-up sequences via email and chat.
• Track reply rate, re-engagement rate, and conversion as primary metrics.
• Manage no-show recovery for cancellations and demos.
• Rebook missed demos and reactivate aged or closed-lost opportunities.
• Reduce stage-to-stage funnel drop-off across the funnel.
