Job summary

Northgate Technologies Inc. seeks a Technical Engineer – Hybrid in Quezon City to handle infrastructure solutions across installation, configuration and maintenance. The role encompasses troubleshooting, pre- and post-sales support, and collaborative planning with the team and account manager.

The position is full-time, office/field-based with a hybrid work setup. Immediate availability and a strong background in communications engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications engineering is required.
• Employment Type: Probationary to Regular.
• Work Schedule: Full-time / Office / field based.
• Work Location: Quezon City.
• Position Availability: ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer pain points and projects and effectively addressing the concerns and requirements.
• Provide technical expertise through system designing.
• Support technical evaluations of recommended solutions.
• Work with team and account manager to come up with the recommendations and strategies.
• Respond in a timely manner to technical pre- and post-sales inquiries.
• Attend the meetings/pre-bid conferences to accommodate the technical concerns.
• Diagnosing/ Troubleshooting: Discovering the cause of technical faults and resolving them in a timely manner.
• Installation: installing / mounting and termination of cable/wires to equipment devices and systems.
• Configuration: programming, Configuring and setting up the systems and devices.
• Maintenance: identify faulty equipment, upgrading software and monitoring performance.
• Deliver brief training/orientation to the client during the project/service turnover.
• Provide technical documentation and report via email.
