Job summary

Coforge Philippines seeks an experienced System Administrator to manage enterprise server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, storage systems, databases and OSs. The role emphasizes high availability, security and performance of critical IT environments.

You will maintain Windows and Linux servers, oversee VMware/Hyper-V, ensure backups and DR readiness, perform patches and tuning, and document infrastructure. Certifications and cloud exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization, storage, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise server infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Manage Windows and/or Linux server operating systems.
• Maintain and monitor virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Support storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery processes.
• Install, configure, and maintain databases and server applications.
• Perform system patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, server, storage, and OS-related issues.
• Ensure security policies and IT best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
• Create and maintain infrastructure documentation.
