Job summary

HRTX seeks an Information Technology Manager to oversee the firm’s IT services, infrastructure and digital transformation efforts. The role will drive the modernization of administrative resources and ensure continuous, secure IT operations aligned with ISO27001 and internal policies.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, vendor relations, and IT policy development while coordinating with various departments to support daily operations across offices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a course related to Information Technology/Computer Science.
• At least five (5) years of managerial IT experience.
• Experience or familiarity with ISO27001 certification and AI usage in IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monitoring, administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure and assets.
• Lead planning, budgeting and implementation of new technology and upgrades.
• Ensure ISO27001 and ISO9001 alignment and drive digital transformation across offices.
• Manage IT help desk, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity.

About the job Information Technology Manager

Job Summary

The IT Manager manages IT services, the IT infrastructure and the computing resources ofthe Firm. He ensures that IT services are continuously available, secure andupdated/aligned to Firm operations. The IT Manager will lead and supervise IT projectsaimed at improving the IT infrastructure. The IT Manager will lead all IT departmentinitiatives toward full digitalization of all officeresources and toward accreditation of internalIT systems underISO27001.

Job Function

• Oversee the monitoring, administration and maintenance of the firms ITinfrastructure and assets including: a. in coordination with the Accounting Manager, the firms billing and collection system, lawyers daily service report, b. in coordination with the Records Manager, the records and docket system, c.in coordination with the Human Resources Manager, theHumanResources Information System, the performanceevaluation system, and attendance and timekeeping system, d. in coordination with the Administrative Manager, the photocopying and scanning network, telephone system, etc.
• In coordination with the Information Security Manager, implementnetwork security initiatives based on information security policies and guidelines.
• Lead the planning, budgeting and implementing of appropriate newtechnology, modifications/upgrades in IT infrastructure andassets, including the transition of the firms IT infrastructure towards fulldigitalization, accreditation for ISO27001 and the use ofAI in systems administration and legal management
• Oversee trouble shooting and manage the Firms help desk operations
• Oversee systems backups and archiving and implement disaster recovery/contingency plans for business continuity
• Establish and maintain vendor/service provider relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software products andother IT supplies
• Propose, in consultation with affected sectors, IT policies necessary to maintain the efficient provision and use of IT services
• Draft IT-related communications that should be relayed to management and/or staff
• Prepare and present IT reports for trend analysis and decision making purposes
• Evaluate internal processes, identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Keep current in and provide expert opinion on new and emerging technologies that may be useful/applicable to Firm operations
• Oversee the administration of IT-related training programs

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of a course related to Information Technology/Computer Science Experience:

• Candidate must have at least five (5) years of managerial experience in information technology, preferably with a mediumsized organization with multiple office branches.
• While hands-on experience with the IT infrastructure of a law firm is an advantage, candidates who demonstrate passion,flexibility, and motivation to quickly learn and adapt to the firms existing technologies are welcome to apply.
• The applicant must have a proven track record in leading the digital transformation of administrative, management, andoperational resources, with working knowledge of the use and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in IT systems, aswellas experience orfamiliarity with the requirements for ISO 27001 certification, is required.
