Are you a hands-on IT leader who enjoys owning technology, solving problems before they become outages, and partnering closely with business operations?
We’re looking for a Site Technology Manager to take ownership of the technology environment across an assigned office, major site, or group of nearby locations.
This is not a ticket-queue management role. We’re looking for someone who thinks like an owner—someone who can identify risks, drive improvements, lead through incidents, and ensure technology is reliable, secure, and ready to support the business.
What You’ll Do
- Own the overall health, readiness, resilience, and user experience of site technology.
- Partner closely with Operations and site leadership to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Lead site-impacting incidents, coordinate recovery, and drive root-cause remediation.
- Identify technology risks, technical debt, aging hardware, and single points of failure before they become business disruptions.
- Lead preventive maintenance, technology refresh, lifecycle planning, and site readiness initiatives.
- Coordinate with Network, Endpoint, Identity, Security, Infrastructure, Facilities, vendors, and other IT teams.
- Support and develop local IT support resources through leadership, coaching, and clear service standards.
- Maintain strong technology governance across endpoints, Microsoft 365, identity, networking, security, assets, and ITSM processes.
- Provide clear, executive-ready reporting on site health, risks, incidents, and improvement plans.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive IT operations, site technology, field support, infrastructure, or enterprise technology experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, including team leadership, site ownership, vendor management, or cross-functional technical leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, endpoint security, and ITSM.
- Experience leading site-impacting incidents and coordinating technical teams through restoration and recovery.
- Strong business partnership and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into business impact and decisions.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to identify risks and follow remediation through to completion.
- Willingness to work onsite and travel between assigned locations as needed.
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Tanium, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Power BI, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or other IT operations and improvement frameworks is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
- Success isn't measured by ticket volume alone. It's about having a healthy, resilient, and reliable technology environment, fewer recurring incidents, proactive risk management, strong employee experience, and trusted partnership with Operations leadership.
