We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to oversee the Retail Loan Origination IT delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs across the section. The role requires strong leadership of Tech Leads and Developers, close collaboration with ITG and business units, and onsite presence in Makati or Ortigas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
• At least 5 years of application delivery experience in the financial services industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing complex projects involving Retail Loan Origination solutions.
• Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality and timely submission of Tech Lead and Developer deliverables for Retail Loan Origination.
• Ensure upkeep of applications and systems owned by the section.
• Develop understanding of team workflows and orchestrate cross-team processes.

Job Summary:

• Ensure high quality and timely submission of all Tech Lead and Developer deliverables of the Retail Loan Origination section
• Ensure upkeep of the applications and systems owned by the section
• Develop a full understanding of how the team/section works and orchestrate applicable processes across other teams/sections as needed
• Manage all escalations and resolutions from the Tech Leads and Developers of the section

Key Responsibilities:

Accountability to ITG:

• Share the delegated responsibility of the head, and own full accountability for delivery in the assigned team/section
• Work closely with other units/counterparties across ITG to ensure seamless delivery
• Enforce adherence to IT SDLC and Governance structure

Accountability to Business:

• Ensure that there is a good understanding of the business unit’s strategic direction
• Ensure alignment of strategies with BDO architecture
• Ensure that the right people (Tech Leads and Developers) are assigned to each project in order to ensure proper support, validation of scope, requirements development, and delivery ownership
• Manage all escalations in relation to the tech team

Accountability to Section Head:

• Take full accountability of the quality of application delivery rendered by the team/section
• Plan for and manage the team/section’s capacity, and ensure appropriate and sufficient staffing of the team/section
• Ensure adequate competency in Tech Leads and Developers
• Identify and optimize how resources can be leveraged across delivery teams
• Ensure timely escalation of issues
• Provide oversight of all vendors and solution providers engaged by the team/section and their assigned resources
• Act as point of escalation for all Tech Leads and Developers
• Ensure implementation of the proper support required for resolution of issues and risk management
• Ensure adequate and appropriate level of support by defining competencies, providing training, and providing team/section members with adequate experience and exposure
• Conduct performance reviews for Tech Leads and Developers

• At least 5 years of experience in managing complex projects involving the implementation of Retail Loan Origination solutions.
