Job summary

Subic Bay Freeport Grain Terminal Services Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support plant operations.

The role requires a graduate in Mechanical Technology or Mechanical Engineering, with 2-3 years in plant or heavy equipment maintenance and the ability to read equipment manuals and drawings. Experience with pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical course.
• With 2-3 years of experience in plant, industrial, or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Knowledge in pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
• TESDA NC II certification in a relevant mechanical trade is an advantage.
• Willing to work in a plant/industrial environment and on shifting schedules.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
