Job summary

INTERNATIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT INC is seeking an experienced technician to perform maintenance on heavy industrial equipment. The role covers inspection, repair, and overhaul of bearings, gearboxes, pumps, fans, and autoclaves, plus diagnostics and line maintenance.

You will work with hydraulic, pneumatic systems and read mechanical drawings, ladders, and plans. A vocational diploma and 3–5 years in industrial maintenance are required, with strong safety knowledge including OSHA/ADA/GMP.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of working experience in industrial maintenance.
Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in related fields.
Degree or certificate in Industrial Systems, Mechanical Technology, or equivalent vocational program.
Completion of a recognized Mechanical Apprenticeship is preferred.
3–5 years in industrial maintenance or journey-level mechanical technician in heavy manufacturing.
Knowledge of mechanical safety codes, OSHA, ADA, GMP.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and ladder diagrams; hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities

Inspect, lubricate, repair, and replace bearings, gearboxes, pumps, fans, autoclaves, motors, hoists, and fire doors.
Diagnose complex issues using test data, diagrams, and drawings.
Set up and repair assembly line equipment during operation.
Install mechanical systems per manufacturer guidance to avoid production downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance to optimize production timelines.
Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, ADA, and GMP.
