Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering.
3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Knowledge of production processes, layout, and flow.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping.
Ability to read and understand CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

Reviews current layout, identifies space requirements, understands production processes, and material flows to identify improvement opportunities.
Develops, designs, and recommends efficient layout and flow of people, materials, manufacturing, and equipment.
Implements and executes layout improvement projects.
Performs industrial engineering tasks such as motion and time studies, line balancing, and resource planning.
Performs cycle time and takt time analysis.
Drives standardization through Standard Work Procedures and Standard Work Sheets.
Eliminate waste through continuous improvement projects.
Interacts with production, warehouse, purchasing, facilities, suppliers, and contractors to implement the project.
Adheres to EH&S practices and reports hazards to ensure safety.
