• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering required.
• Licensed Industrial Engineer is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, inventory management software, or warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory planning, warehouse operations, and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience in construction materials, manufacturing, industrial products, or distribution is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
• Develop and maintain inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and accountability.
• Analyze inventory movements, stock turnover, reorder points, and safety stock levels to support operations.
• Review inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate regular cycle counts and physical inventories with timely reconciliation of variances.
• Identify and implement inventory optimization strategies to improve stock utilization and reduce carrying costs.
• Evaluate existing inventory and warehouse processes to identify efficiency gains and cost reductions.
• Design and implement process improvements using IE principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Develop standardized workflows, procedures, and performance metrics for inventory management.
• Recommend automation opportunities and system enhancements to improve visibility and performance.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve warehouse productivity and inventory accuracy.
• Analyze data to identify shortages, slow-moving items, and excess stock; prepare performance reports.

The Industrial Engineer (Inventory Control) is responsible for planning, analyzing, and improving inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role focuses on developing data-driven solutions that enhance inventory visibility, minimize losses, improve warehouse operations, and support business continuity.

Working closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, Production, and Finance, the Industrial Engineer evaluates inventory performance, recommends process improvements, and implements best practices that optimize inventory utilization while maintaining high service levels and operational excellence.
