Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines seeks an engineering-oriented professional with a degree in Chemical, Instrumentation and Control, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering to support system development and client projects.

The role covers design, testing, documentation, run-book automation, planning, site visits, and team collaboration to meet schedules and budgets. Fresh graduates are welcome; travel to customer sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in Sales/Marketing or an Engineering role is an advantage.
• Independent, driven and results oriented.
• Strong analytical skills; self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel to go on work assignments or site visits.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system development tasks including design, integration and formal testing (e.g. FAT/SAT).
• Develop and complete actions in system specification, technical and logistical requirements and other disciplines.
• Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation for efficient planning and execution.
• Work with team to analyze, plan and develop run-book automation for software deployment processes and supporting infrastructure.
• Prepare and monitor work schedules, project costing, procurement and coordination to ensure progress within target time and budget.
• Assist Project Manager in planning and execution of project plans at site or office.
• Execute preventive maintenance for existing systems.
• Solve problems at customer sites.
• Calibrate measuring instruments.
• Support sales activities (quotation preparation and technical presentations).
