Job summary

Marygracecafe is seeking a Supply Planning Specialist to plan, forecast, and optimize the indirect materials supply for smooth warehouse operations. The role involves establishing reorder points, safety stocks, and working with procurement to secure timely purchases.

You will monitor inventory, analyze KPIs, and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production to anticipate needs and drive continuous improvements. Strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply planning, materials planning, or inventory management for indirect items.
• Proficiency in ERP / planning systems, MRP, and Excel for data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of procurement, warehouse operations, and materials handling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
• Problem-solving mindset with continuous improvement orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, and optimize indirect materials supply to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Establish reorder points, safety stocks, and purchase requirements using planning tools.
• Monitor inventory levels, aging, and perform cycle counts; conduct variance analyses.
• Classify indirect items and liaise with procurement to initiate purchase orders.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure inbound deliveries are processed and stored properly.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, facilities, production, and operations to understand needs.
• Generate KPIs and weekly/monthly reports on stock and inventory trends; drive improvements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through bulk orders, supplier consolidation, and alternates.
