Job summary

Universal Music Group in Manila, Philippines, seeks a Label Manager to handle day-to-day label partner relationships and drive artist development for distributed labels. The role requires strong digital music knowledge, creative strategy, and capability to work with internal teams to meet label partners’ business needs. English proficiency a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience within a label, distribution, DSP, or management company.
• Organized project manager with ability to adapt to labels’ and artists’ needs.
• Passionate about music discovery and independent music.
• Strong relationship builder, creative and resourceful at getting to the finish line.
• Experience with top digital music services and social media applications.
• Good English skills are a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with key label partners in the Philippines.
• Manage, organize, and oversee label and release presentations.
• Oversee priority release campaign logistics from inception through analysis.
• Ensure Global Sales Strategy and Marketing have assets to solicit and market releases in the region.
• Liaise with internal departments to meet label partners’ business needs.
• Manage digital product logistics and operations for assigned labels.
• Drive adoption of Virgin Music Group technology platforms and services.
• Provide account and industry insight and updates to Virgin Music Group and label partners.
