Responsibilities

• Computes estimated duties and taxes
• Provides tariff consultation
• Must be updated with new Bureau of Customs memos
• Ensures that all necessary permits and clearances are obtained for imported items
• Logs entries with the e2m system
• Monitors delivery of consumption entries
• Oversees Tariff Classification and computation of duty and tax on imported cargoes
• Provides excellent and timely customer service assistance by pro-actively informing agents and clients of their shipment statuses.
