Greenstrides Pte Ltd, Singapore, is seeking an Implementation Engineer to translate energy‑efficiency innovations into real customer savings. You will start hands-on at customer sites, learning the ground reality and building repeatable deployment processes.
You will eventually lead implementation teams across regions, standardising site surveys, installation protocols and training programmes. Nighttime work may be required in the early years to minimise disruption.
IMPLEMENTATION ENGINEER-Energy Efficiency & Sustainability
Singapore • Full-time • Early Technical Hire
OUR MISSION: ENABLE 80 MILLION TONNES OF ANNUAL CO₂ EMISSION REDUCTIONS BY 2045
Greenstrides is an energy-efficiency company with an ambitious mission: to enable 80 million tonnes of annual CO₂ emission reductions by 2045.
We believe many of the technologies needed to significantly reduce the world's energy consumption already exist. The challenge is getting them deployed at scale. Greenstrides identifies proven energy-saving technologies from around the world and accelerates their adoption across ASEAN and Australia.
Our solutions are selected around a simple principle: sustainability should strengthen business performance. We help customers reduce energy consumption, operating costs and carbon emissions while improving their bottom line.
We are looking for an Implementation Engineer who wants to build more than an engineering career. As an early technical hire, you will help translate innovative energy-efficiency technologies into real, measurable energy and carbon savings at customer sites.
This role is designed to evolve. You will start hands-on, learn the ground reality deeply, turn that experience into repeatable systems, train others, and progressively grow into a managerial role capable of building and leading implementation teams across regions.
During the initial years, this will be a deliberately hands-on role. Before you can build an implementation organisation, you need to understand implementation yourself.
That means being at customer sites, understanding panels, wiring, controls and equipment, working alongside technicians and contractors, commissioning systems, troubleshooting problems and discovering the practical issues that only become visible during real-world implementation.
Because many customers - particularly restaurants, hotels and commercial facilities - cannot interrupt operations during normal business hours, a meaningful portion of installations may take place at night or outside normal working hours. Candidates should be comfortable with nighttime installations, particularly during the initial years.
The purpose is not for this to remain a permanent night-installation role. The objective is to build enough field depth to identify the kinks, failure points and unnecessary complexity in implementation - and then engineer them out.
The longer-term objective is for the Implementation Engineer to move from personally executing and supervising implementations to building the capability for others to deliver them successfully.
As you gain experience, you will be expected to standardise and simplify Greenstrides' implementation model so that trained Implementation Executives, contractors and local technical partners can deploy solutions reliably across multiple markets, with senior engineering expertise providing oversight and escalation support.
LEARN IMPLEMENT TROUBLESHOOT STANDARDISE TRAIN MANAGE SCALE
Work hands-on alongside contractors and technology partners. Participate in site surveys, installations, commissioning and troubleshooting - including nighttime installations where customer operations require them. Build practical judgement by seeing what actually happens in the field.
Turn field experience into repeatable processes. Standardise how Greenstrides scopes, installs, commissions, monitors and supports its technologies. Identify recurring problems and systematically remove them.
Train and supervise Implementation Executives, contractors and technical partners. Move progressively from personally executing installations to technical oversight, quality assurance and escalation support.
Take increasing responsibility for developing implementation capabilities across Singapore, ASEAN and Australia - building local teams, developing implementation leaders and ensuring consistent technical quality across markets.
We are looking for someone with an unusual combination of engineering curiosity, humility, ownership and ambition.
In the beginning, you should be comfortable putting on your safety shoes and spending the night at a customer site figuring out why something is not working. You should want to understand not just what needs to be done, but why it works, what can go wrong and how the implementation can be improved.
But you should not want to remain the person who has to solve every problem personally. Your mindset should evolve from 'How do I solve this?' to 'How do I make sure our team never has to solve this problem from scratch again?' - and eventually to 'How do I build and lead teams that can deliver this successfully across hundreds or thousands of sites?'
That transition - from hands-on engineer, to systems builder, to people leader - is fundamental to this role.
Less energy consumed. Lower operating costs. Lower CO₂ emissions.

If you are an engineer who wants to learn quickly, work hands-on, take ownership, build systems and grow into leadership alongside an ambitious sustainability company, we would like to hear from you.
