Job summary

Hexagon Shared Services Inc. is seeking an Implementation Engineer in Quezon City to drive project execution from planning to live run. You will configure systems, perform testing, and train clients while coordinating with the Project Engineer.

The role requires 3+ years in IT networking and cyber security, plus strong TCP/IP, network security, Windows Server, Linux, and cloud security knowledge. Fieldwork and on-site support in Quezon City are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year degree, preferably IT-related (BSIT/CS/CE).
• At least 3 years of work experience in IT networking and cyber security.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, network security, firewall, and cloud security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute implementation plans and blueprint with client interaction.
• Handle system configuration, testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide onsite and remote support, training, and project updates.
• Prepare and maintain training, BP, configuration, and closure documents.

FUNCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT & MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Implementation Engineer is responsible for the execution of the implementation project scope while acting as the point of contact during the project life cycle. The Implementation Engineer also serves as the first level of support for clients during the project life cycle, working with them in understanding their needs and recommending options and ideas.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with the Project Engineer in executing approved implementation plan and blueprint of the project.
• Prepares and executives the following:
• System-related configuration
• Internal and External Testing
• User Acceptance Testing
• Project Live Run
• Deploys project-related solutions and fixes during the project life cycle.
• Conducts the following activity during the project life cycle:
• Training of clients
• Business Review
• Configuration
• Data Migration
• Onsite and offsite assistance
• Project updates
• Ensures that the following documentations are in place:
• Training Document
• Business Process Requirement Documentation
• Configuration Document
• System Line-run Documentation
• Project Closure
• Minutes of the Meeting
• Issue and Solution Logs
• Provides ongoing support for customer during implementation.
• Creates, modifies and releases ISO-related documents

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/ KNOWLEDGE

• Graduate of any 4-year course or college degree, preferably BSIT, BS Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering, or any IT-related courses.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

• Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in IT networking and cyber security
• Must have a background on business processes standard practices.
• Knowledge in TCP/IP, Network Security, Firewall, Windows Server, Linux, EDR, Routers, Switches, Anti Virus, Endpoint Management, Active Directory, IAM AWS, Google Cloud and Cloud Security
• Certification is an advantage but not required
• Amenable to do fieldwork
• Amenable to work in Quezon City
• Preferably has worked in companies belonging to the following industries:
