Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 2–3 years in General Accounting; minimum 1 year in Accounts Reconciliation in a regulated financial services environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP (Canadian, US and Philippine) and local tax rules.
• Familiarity with SAP General Ledger and feeder systems (PAM, Ingenium, FIS, GIS, Fixed Asset System, IPAC, AGIS).
• Strong Excel and financial analysis/reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts following guidelines.
• Identify reconciling items, coordinate with units to resolve variances, escalate complex items.
• Provide schedules and reports for management, auditors and regulators, including aging and asset schedules.
• Support process improvements through system enhancements and finance projects.
• Document end-to-end processes and ensure internal controls are effective.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to risk management.
