Job summary

Sun Life Philippines Finance is seeking an Accountant to prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and maintain current status per guidelines. You will identify risks, coordinate with related units, and provide accurate financial information for management, auditors, and external parties.

The role requires a BS in Accountancy with 1–2 years in external/internal auditing, accounts reconciliation or general accounting; CPA is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accountancy graduate
• Desirable: CPA
• 1 to 2 years meaningful experience in External or Internal Auditing, Accounts Reconciliation or General Accounting

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and maintain their status per guidelines
• Proactively identify risks and resolve accounting and control issues with related units
• Provide accurate financial information to management, auditors and external examiners
• Initiate process improvements and collaborate with other business units
• Document business processes and perform procedural controls while understanding assigned accounts
