Job summary

UNICEF Philippines seeks a Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Officer to support HPV vaccination and strengthening routine immunization nationwide. The role translates behavioral evidence into practical strategies to reduce barriers and boost demand and community engagement.

The Officer collaborates with government, UNICEF SBC and immunization teams, academic partners and development partners to design evidence-informed SBC strategies and build capacity across levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field with 2 years of experience in SBC, health communication or immunization.
• Strong writing, presentation and data-use skills for policy and program design.
• Experience coordinating with government, partners and UNICEF is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Generate, synthesize and translate social and behavioral evidence into actionable vaccine strategies.
• Provide technical assistance for SBC planning, demand generation and community engagement.
• Strengthen SBC capacities of government, partners and UNICEF teams and support knowledge products.
• Monitor, evaluate and document SBC interventions to improve program effectiveness.
• Contribute to governance, budgeting and partnerships to embed SBC in government systems.
