The Immigration Administration Associate (IAA) supports the Immigration Team in the delivery of Australian immigration and visa services. The IAA is responsible for administrative, case preparation, document management and liaison duties, together with other assigned responsibilities across the Immigration Team’s caseload. You will have regular contact with visa applicants, relocating employees and Sirva’s suppliers and will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Immigration Advisors and Registered Migration Agents, as an integral part of the service delivery team.
The IAA are expected to have practical experience supporting Australian immigration matters, with knowledge and/or experience in processing Australian visa applications, including Subclass 400, Subclass 600, Subclass 482 and Subclass 186 visas. This includes supporting application preparation, document collection and review, lodgement activities, case updates and follow‑up activities under the direction of the relevant Immigration Advisor or Registered Migration Agent.
The IAA must have experience working in a fast‑paced office environment and be able to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The role requires strong case‑processing and organisational skills, the ability to work effectively within established processes and SLAs, and an in‑depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
