Job summary

Headout is seeking an Associate Producer for Dex, its narrative-driven audio tours venture. You will own the full production lifecycle from research and script development through audio production, QA to launch, working within established frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in narrative or scriptwriting output (audio/video/long-form storytelling) and project coordination
• A writing sample showing narrative or scripted storytelling, ideally audio-first
• Strong research instincts with attention to factual accuracy and sourcing
• AI tools knowledge to improve processes across the board
• Structured creative thinking within a defined framework
• Production documentation: launch audit checklists & delivery trackers
• Experience with travel vlogs, travel writing, or experiential tourism content
• Experience with voice AI production tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, Seedream)
• Background in history, urban geography, or place-based storytelling

Responsibilities

• Own the full production lifecycle of a tour: research, script development, audio production, QA to launch
• Coordinate across writers, business teams, partners, audio production and venues to keep production on schedule
• Chase delivery timelines while redrafting parts of a script as needed
• Manage multiple tours in parallel across production stages and improve processes
