Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Internal ICU Float Pool. In this role you will support multiple critical care areas within a single facility and provide high‑quality, compassionate care.

We require an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and ICU experience (18 months; 2 years preferred). Night shifts 7 PM–7 AM, 36 hours per week, with weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum ICU RN experience: 18 months (2 years strongly preferred).
• Flexibility for scheduling per 6‑week period including one weekend shift.
• Commitment to ongoing learning, adaptability, and teamwork across care environments.

Responsibilities

• Support ICU units as a float pool across multiple critical care areas within the hospital.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
