Converge ICT Solutions Inc. in Bauang, Philippines seeks an experienced Infrastructure Facilities Engineer to design, implement, and optimize critical utility systems for mission-critical sites.
You will lead capacity planning, oversee large infrastructure projects, and act as Tier 3 escalation for complex failures. A strong background in BMS/EPMS and CAD is required to ensure high availability and compliance with international standards.
Infrastructure Design & Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize critical infrastructure systems, including power distribution, cooling, and network physical layers.
Capacity Planning: Lead capacity management for power, space, and cooling; forecast future requirements to ensure the facility scales with business needs.
Project Management: Oversee large-scale infrastructure projects, including equipment upgrades, facility expansions, and vendor installations.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex electrical or mechanical failures; perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Author and refine MOPs (Method of Procedure), SOPs, and EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures) to ensure high availability.
Efficiency & Sustainability: Monitor and improve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) and other efficiency metrics through advanced thermal management and load balancing.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility meets international standards such as TIA-942, Uptime Institute tiers, and ISO certifications.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years in mission-critical environments (Data Centers, Hospitals, or Power Plants).
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in BMS (Building Management Systems) and EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring Systems).
Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting and modifying facility blueprints.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, project leadership, and the ability to make high-pressure decisions during outages.
