Job summary

Johnson & Johnson, through DePuy Synthes, is seeking a Cash Applications Analyst in Manila to join the Global Services Finance team. You will process customer receipts, ensure accurate application of payments, and collaborate with collections to reconcile payments and claims.

The role supports the Invoice to Cash process and requires strong attention to detail and SAP knowledge. The position offers exposure to a global finance network, with opportunities to participate in process improvements

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
• CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processes customer receipts and adjustments in cash applications.
• Reconciles cash receipts with bank statements and remittance advice.
• Ensures payments are correctly applied, balanced, and compliant with policies.
• Collaborates with Collections for payment and claims reconciliation.
• Prepares statements of account, refunds, and write-offs as needed.
• Generates and reconciles closing reports.
• Meets service levels per SLA and escalates issues timely.
• Identifies process improvements within Cash Applications and AR reporting.
• Keeps process documentation current and supports audits.

This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team in the Invoice to Cash process area. The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating Companies around the world.

ITC Cash Application Analyst – is responsible for processing customer receipts and adjustments in an accurate and timely manner for specific business sectors and countries serviced by GS Manila.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processes and reconciles cash receipts, bank statement and remittance advice.
• Ensures that all incoming payments applied are balanced, free of discrepancies and conform to policies and procedures
• Works closely with Collections team for customer payment and claims reconciliation
• Prepares customer's statement of account, requests for refunds and write-offs/write-ons when there are credits on the customer's account
• Generates and reconciles closing reports
• Ensures service levels and targets are met as per Service Level Agreements.
• Ensures proper and timely escalation of issues so that they are resolved to meet internal and external expectations
• Identifies opportunities and participates in process improvement projects within the Cash Applications and AR reporting process
• Ensures all process documentations are current.
• Support internal or external audits as needed.

Qualifications:

Education

• A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance.
• CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Technology proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent data entry and processing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage time and multiple deadlines
• Must possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable

Preferred

• Experience from BPO or shared services center of a multinational corporation and even local companies with relevant experience.
• 0 to 2 years in AR/Cash Applications role in BPO/shared Svc is preferred.
