Job summary

Shore360, a 100% Australian-owned BPO in the Philippines, seeks an experienced estimator with 3–5 years of construction site experience. You will handle quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and pricing while reviewing drawings and coordinating with procurement.

The role requires Planswift proficiency and strong Excel skills, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork. Office-based position at Philexcel, with opportunities for growth and continuous learning in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; strong computer literacy.
• 3–5 years of construction site experience.
• Experience using Planswift or similar estimating software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Support the estimating team in preparing cost estimates and project pricing.
• Maintain and update estimating spreadsheets, databases, and project records.
• Assist with procurement and material quantity calculations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate project information and documentation.
• Perform general administrative and reporting tasks related to estimating and project delivery.
• Continuously develop estimating, construction, and industry knowledge through on-the-job training.
• Support project teams with ad hoc construction and estimating-related tasks as required.

Required Experience

• 3–5 years of construction experience in a site-based environment.
• Previous experience in estimating, quantity take-offs, or construction costing.
• Experience using take-off software such as Planswift or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Previous experience with Australian plumbing companies is highly regarded and may attract a higher salary depending on experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required).
  Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn from the ground up and develop within the role.

Candidate Must Have

• Mechanical Engineering degree (Non-negotiable).
• 3–5 years of construction site experience with exposure to estimating or quantity take-offs.
• Experience using Planswift or similar estimating software.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
