Job summary

Outstaffer.AI is seeking a Hydraulic Revit Modeller to produce 2D and 3D hydraulic documentation for building projects in Queensland. You will work with the BIM Manager and design team to meet drafting deadlines and ensure drawings meet quality standards before issuance.

You will manage CAD tasks, attend design meetings, and contribute to QA objectives across projects, while maintaining drawing registers and client document rules.

Qualifications

• 2D and 3D hydraulic drafting and modelling using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Review drawings to QA standards and client guidelines.
• Attend design meetings and weekly forecasting sessions.

Hydraulic and fire services consultancy based in Queensland. The firm does in-house research into performance-based solutions and cost-effective designs. It is also open to alternative approaches that still meet codes, legislation and performance requirements.

About the role

Hydraulic Revit Modeller to produce 2D and 3D hydraulic documentation for building projects. You’ll work closely with the BIM Manager and the design team, help manage drafting deadlines, and make sure every drawing meets quality standards before it goes out.

Responsibilities

• Manage CAD tasks and deadlines
• Manage your drafting tasks by liaising with BIM Manager and design team with clear communication
• Attend design meetings
• Review project designs and CAD against guidelines
• Ensure QA objectives are met and completed on project
• Attend weekly project and forecasting meetings
• Liaise with all team members with projected workflows and deadlines
• Adhere to the “Quality Management System” always
• Implement company quality procedures and report on any “Non-Conformances” in relation to document quality and control
• Assist in updating CAD manuals and procedures as required
• Report to management on deficiencies in company software or training shortfalls

What we are looking for

• Do 2D and 3D hydraulic drafting and modelling in Autodesk (Revit and AutoCAD)
• Manage CAD tasks and deadlines, and keep the BIM Manager and designers updated on your workflow
• Review designs and drawings against guidelines and complete the QA steps on each project
• Attend design meetings and the weekly project and forecasting meetings
• Create and maintain drawing registers and transmittals
• Upload and manage documents on client platforms such as Aconex, TeamBinder and Procore, following each client’s document rules
• Follow Quality Management System and report any non-conformances
• Help keep CAD and Revit manuals, procedures and content libraries up to date
• Look after general admin: printing, scanning, filing, plotter upkeep and accurate timesheets
