BruntWork seeks a skilled Remote Hydraulic Revit Modeler & AutoCAD Drafter to expand hydraulic modeling capacity for Australian projects. You will create accurate 3D BIM models and 2D documentation for sanitary, drainage, water supply, and gas systems on hotels and multi-residential developments.

Collaborating daily via Microsoft Teams, you will ensure clash-free coordination and integration with other building services while meeting standard drawing practices and project timelines.

Formación

• 2+ years drafting and modeling with Revit and 2D AutoCAD in building services/engineering design.
• Knowledge of hydraulic building services (waste, drainage, water supply, gas).
• Experience drafting to Australian standards (AS/NZS 3500) preferred.
• Access to Autodesk software subscription and capable workstation.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to deliver clash-free documentation.
• Experience with Revit (MEP/Hydraulic), AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.

Responsabilidades

Overview

Our client is looking for a skilled remote Hydraulic Revit Modeler & AutoCAD Drafter to expand their hydraulic modeling capacity and maintain high drawing standards across the Australian construction sector. In this role, you will support commercial developments such as multi-residential apartments and hotels throughout Western Australia and Queensland. Working as an integral extension of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will take ownership of translating hydraulic engineering designs into accurate 3D BIM models and 2D documentation sets. You will manage services drafting for sanitary plumbing, trade waste, stormwater drainage, and domestic water supply systems on active projects. Collaborating daily with design engineers via Microsoft Teams, you will ensure all models maintain strict geometric accuracy, clash-free coordination, and seamless integration across related building services.

Schedule

• Flexible Part-Time | Monday to Friday (Perth, WA Business Hours / AWST) | 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

3D BIM Modeling & 2D Documentation

• Develop detailed 3D Revit models of hydraulic services (sanitary plumbing, drainage, hot/cold water, gas, and stormwater) for commercial developments including hotels and apartment complexes.
• Prepare, detail, and update 2D AutoCAD drafting packages based directly on engineering calculations and markups.
• Accurately translate hydraulic design intent into coordinated schematic layouts, riser diagrams, and construction-ready drawing sheets.
• Support electrical and mechanical Revit modeling tasks as secondary priorities when project allocations require cross-discipline support.

Quality Control, Coordination & Team Collaboration

• Review and audit drawing sheets to verify drafting integrity, annotation clarity, and consistency across all MEP disciplines.
• Identify and resolve service clashes between hydraulic pipework, structural members, and architectural elements within the BIM environment.
• Maintain daily communication with lead engineers via Microsoft Teams, reporting progress and coordinating model handoffs.
• Manage and organize project drafting files, families, and templates in line with established company drawing standards.

Requirements

• Revit & AutoCAD Drafting Experience: 2+ years of hands-on drafting and modeling experience utilizing Autodesk Revit and 2D AutoCAD within building services or engineering design.
• Hydraulic Discipline Literacy: Sound working knowledge of hydraulic building services (waste, drainage, water supply, gas systems) to understand, interpret, and model engineering intent correctly.
• Australian Standards Familiarity: Prior experience drafting in accordance with Australian standards and building practices (e.g., AS/NZS 3500) is strongly preferred.
• Autodesk Licensing & Workstation: Access to an independent Autodesk software subscription (Revit/AutoCAD) and a high-performance computer capable of handling complex 3D BIM models.
• Autonomous Delivery & Precision: Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to deliver accurate, clash-free documentation with minimal supervision.
• Technical Stack & Tools: Autodesk Revit (MEP / Hydraulic), AutoCAD, Navisworks Freedom/Manage, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
