Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Design Technician to join our Project Delivery team in the Philippines. You will translate engineering concepts into accurate 2D/3D structural models and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD, collaborating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

You will own your structural scope, participate in design reviews, and help improve workflows while mentoring junior designers.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of structural drafting/design experience.
Strong proficiency in Revit or BIM workflows.
Experience with AutoCAD for construction documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Develop structural models and construction deliverables using Revit and AutoCAD, focusing on steel and concrete structures.
Create structural models from sketches and redlines based on engineers’ direction.
Coordinate structural designs with other disciplines using clash detection tools.
Incorporate electronic redlines within established workflows.
Own assigned structural scope ensuring schedule, budget, and quality alignment.
Perform self-checks and coordinate design packages to minimize conflicts.
Mentor junior designers when needed.
Contribute to quality reviews and project standards.
Support workflow and tool improvements in design automation.
