Job summary

Manulife seeks a Business & Reporting Analyst to support governance, performance management, and operational effectiveness for MGS Actuarial. The role delivers management reporting, analytical insights, and supports strategic initiatives to improve planning and decision-making.

With a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong Excel and data-analysis skills, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and tools, ensuring data integrity and effective governance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Experience delivering business, reporting, or process improvements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of departmental strategies and key initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Monitor initiatives and elevate risks, issues, and dependencies as needed.
• Prepare governance and management reports, including headcount analysis and seat optimization.
• Analyze and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain tools and reports that support planning, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
• Validate data, investigate variances, and maintain the accuracy and integrity of reports.
• Coordinate project requirements, deliverables, and follow-up actions.
• Serve as a point of contact for MGS-wide initiatives and governance forums.
