Manulife is seeking a Reinsurance Junior Specialist to join the Reinsurance Operations team within the Actuarial Function at MGS. The role offers exposure to policy administration, billing, and death claim reimbursement across Asia business units, with collaboration across global stakeholders.

The successful candidate will support treaty administration, manage policy servicing, and contribute to end-to-end transaction management in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or business processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication for business correspondence.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with keen detail.
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads with accuracy.
• Knowledge of policy administration, claims processing, or customer servicing.

Responsibilities

• Process policy maintenance activities including policy changes and billing requests.
• Handle death claim reimbursement transactions and ensure timely processing.
• Manage treaty block ownership and support administration of reinsured portfolios.
• Investigate and resolve complex policy administration issues and operational exceptions.
• Review and respond to email inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance across all transactions.
• Support process improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency.
