Job summary

HSBC invites an experienced professional for the role of Assistant Manager Operations - Clearing and Settlements Central Utility in Quezon City, Philippines. The role focuses on efficient data maintenance, billing, tax activities and reconciliations within agreed SLAs.

You will lead projects, drive cross-training across five markets, and work to improve processing of account opening, name changes, and related system maintenance while leveraging HSBC platforms for efficiency.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent practical experience.
• In-depth knowledge of custody activities and securities services.
• Strong risk and control background.
• Proven leadership and management competencies.
• Broad knowledge of HSBC/Corporate and Institutional Banking.
• Experience managing virtual teams and working across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Perform BAU static data/fee billing/reconciliations activities and management of outstanding instructions.
• Lead and come up with different projects to benefit the team and improve the existing processes.
• Drive cross-training initiative across 5 markets for better capacity management.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of account opening/name change/closure, and other related system maintenances on account set up
• Ensure timely preparation of client charges and monitoring of billing statements
• Leverage on technology platforms (new and existing) to gain efficiency and ensure operational viability.
• Review systems and processes to improve operational efficiencies.
