Job summary

Questronix Corporation 2 is seeking a Network Support Specialist to provide first-line troubleshooting for network issues and assist higher-level engineers with more complex problems. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software including routers, switches, and firewalls.

You will monitor performance, document configurations, and help deploy new solutions while adhering to security procedures, VPN setups, and password management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or IT-related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience with Network and Security.
• Professional Linux experience.
• Knowledge of AS400 preferred.
• CCNA certification is a plus.
• Hybrid work setup in Makati.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for network-related issues and escalate to engineers.
• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and security vulnerabilities.
• Configure IP addresses, subnets, and VLANs as needed.
• Maintain network documentation and logs.
• Test and deploy new network solutions and hardware/software.
• Respond to and resolve network service requests promptly.
• Assist with network monitoring using relevant tools.
• Provide end-user support for connectivity and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform software/firmware updates under senior engineers' guidance.
• Follow SOPs for network security, including VPN setup and password management.
