HSBC Holdings plc is seeking an experienced Manager – Accounting Control to join our Global Markets team in a hybrid role. The candidate will deliver daily controls, reconciliations, and journals, ensuring service levels and accuracy across global operations.

The role requires CPA designation (preferred), a graduate degree in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel/Access skills, with readiness to work in shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
• Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Experience in a global bank or similar scale operations is advantageous.
• Strong IT skills with MS Excel and Access.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for regional interactions.

Aufgaben

• Deliver daily business controls for Global Markets, including reconciliations and manual journals.
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting control services to SLAs within HSBC Global Resourcing framework.
• Assist in producing reconciliations and root-cause analyses of breaks; post accounting adjustments as needed.
• Provide management information in collaboration with in-country/nearshore teams.
• Maintain strong stakeholder management ensuring reconciliations and investigations are up to date.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to change projects.
• Document impact assessments for proposed changes to processes, data, and systems.
