Job summary

Xylem is seeking a GIS Data Analyst in Calamba, hybrid role, to analyze, validate and evaluate GIS data for pipeline management using ESRI software and GPS data. You will produce maps and geodatabases, support field crews, and ensure data integrity across projects helping water infrastructure owners with accurate visualization and reporting.

The role requires a BS/BA in GIS or related field (or 2 years experience), strong ESRI software knowledge, and the ability to automate processes with

Qualifications

• BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Geology, Geodetic Engineering, Forestry related fields OR 2 years equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge on ESRI products (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
• Strong knowledge of ESRI’s geodatabase model, design, and management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of information management (relational databases, GIS, GPS).
• Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to solve technical and business workflow problems.
• Ability to communicate data and procedural discrepancies to management and field crews.
• Ability to leverage scripting to automate business processes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and digitize pipeline engineering drawings.
• Analyze client data for mapping and visualization.
• Process raw GPS data for GIS databases.
• Correlate pipeline mapping with inspection data.
• Improve mapping accuracy using field data.
• Produce maps for excavation based on inspection data.
• Create geodatabases from mapping information and inspection data.
• Collaborate with project team to gather All project information and schedule.
• Process client GIS and field GPS data.
• Create data deliverables for client and support field crews.
• Manage databases and maintain data integrity.
• Troubleshoot Trimble unit issues.
• Review/validate spatial data in ArcMap against field GPS notes.
