Qualifications

• 5–8 years in data governance or data management with proven ownership.
• Hands-on with metadata mgmt, data dictionaries, glossaries, and data catalog concepts.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Clear, effective communicator for business audiences at all levels.
• Analytical mindset to assess complex data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for governance reporting.
• HR data domain knowledge is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Document end-to-end data lineage across critical systems for traceability.
• Partner with business, technology, and data owners to remediate gaps.
• Maintain authoritative data source inventories and documentation.
• Perform metadata quality reviews and controls aligned to governance standards.
• Monitor governance metrics to track adoption and maturity.
• Lead system change processes from requirements to implementation.
• Support governance forums and remediation activities and policy recommendations.
• Coach colleagues on governance processes and continuous improvement.
