Job summary

Macquarie Group seeks a data governance professional to monitor data quality, maintain governance artefacts and oversee data risks and controls. You will collaborate with data owners, technology teams and business stakeholders to drive remediation and sustainable improvements.

The role focuses on ensuring data integrity, lineage and metadata management while embedding governance practices across the organisation. Hybrid/flexible work arrangements are available depending on role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality and controls in a regulated environment.
• Experience in data analysis, issue investigation and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with data lineage, metadata management and governance frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise data tools (e.g., Collibra) is an advantage.
• Experience in financial services or risk management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data quality and governance artefacts across the organisation.
• Identify and investigate data quality breaches and manage data issues through resolution.
• Support remediation and continuous improvement of data controls and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with data owners, technology teams and stakeholders to sustain data integrity.
