Job summary

Stratpoint Technologies Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer in the Philippines to design, build, and manage data pipelines and architectures that feed business insights.

You will ensure data flows from multiple sources into databases, data lakes, or warehouses and are processed for analysis. You will work with Python/PySpark, SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, implementing ETL/ELT, validating data, and documenting architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Proficient in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and Python-based data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with data wrangling and API integrations.
• Familiarity with data storage formats (Parquet, CSV, JSON, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data collection, transformation, and integration.
• Maintain databases, data warehouses, and data lakes ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes to automate data collection, cleaning, and transformation.
• Optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Document data architectures and pipelines; support IT and business partners.
• Provide data extraction and reporting support; perform live verification and testing before production.
