Job summary

Vestas seeks an experienced Network Engineer to develop cyber secure and well governed Hybrid Data Center offerings within a global engineering team. You will implement services, maintain infrastructure, and handle day-to-day operations across data center networks and cloud platforms.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco ACI, Azure Cloud, VMware NSX, and Check Point firewalls, with a proactive stance on automation using Python. On-call weekends and 24/5 coverage apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise routing, switching and security
• Experience with SDN and cloud networking (Cisco ACI, Azure)
• Certifications from major vendors or a degree in IT/CS/Engineering
• Experience with Nexus 9000, Cisco ISR/ASR, Catalyst switches
• Familiarity with Check Point and Cisco Firepower

Responsibilities

• Implement new services and maintain data center networks
• Manage Azure Cloud network infrastructure and NSX segmentation
• Lead and mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with architects on platform development
• Operate in 24/5 setup with on-call weekends
