Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock team is seeking a self-motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the MBPS unit in a fast-paced agile squad. You will contribute to transforming digital solutions for John Hancock customers, using modern technologies and collaborating with product partners and peers.

You will own cloud-native development, implement a modern tech stack with Angular, React, .NET, and Node, and participate in DevSecOps practices to ensure high quality, secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Full-Stack engineer experience.
• Ability to translate user requirements into software requirements.
• Experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with C#, .NET, JSON, XML.
• Experience with modern software architectures and API-focused development.
• Familiarity with agile and DevSecOps principles and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own and deploy cloud-native applications from design to production.
• Work with Angular, React, .Net, JavaScript on Azure Kubernetes Services and DevOps/GitOps.
• Ensure code quality with testing, security validation and gates.
