Job summary

Financial Times is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join our Finance team in Manila, supporting accounting, supplier management, statutory compliance, audits, and fixed assets. You will work with the Financial Accountant and broader team to ensure accurate records, robust controls, and timely reporting in line with Philippine regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• 2–5 years of experience in external or internal audit.
• Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting and regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, PEZA).
• Experience with financial accounting software or ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vendor and supplier invoice management and records maintenance.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet schedules.
• Assist with month-end close and regulatory reporting.
• Support tax compliance and BIR/PEZA submissions.
• Coordinate audits and strengthen internal controls.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and related documentation.
