Job summary

Clorox Philippines is seeking an Assistant Manager of Accounting and Control based in Metro Manila. This hybrid role combines month-end close, IFRS and US GAAP reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, and internal controls, reporting to the SEA Financial Controller and supporting a small team.

You will manage the Sun Financial System, drive process improvements, ensure SOX compliance, and oversee intercompany transactions, payroll support, and local policy updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in finance and/or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Big four audit firm experience is a plus.
• Experience in SOX and implementation of internal controls.
• Experience in multinational FMCG and cross-border intercompany transactions is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or International Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close processes for the Philippines and IFRS/US GAAP reporting.
• Lead statutory audits and tax compliance activities including routine filings.
• Administer Sun Financial System and ensure data accuracy and issue resolution.
• Support the Financial Controller, SEA, in internal control initiatives and process improvements.
• Oversee day-to-day transactional finance operations including AR and payroll support.
• Drive automation and maintain policy documentation in line with SOX.
