Job summary

CIIT College of Arts and Technology Inc. in the Philippines seeks a skilled HVAC technician to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of air-conditioning maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with TESDA RAC Servicing NC II and knowledge of VRF/VRV systems.

You will perform inspections, PMS, and coordinate with contractors while maintaining safety and accurate logs. This is a full-time role requiring shift flexibility and reliability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a technical/vocational course in HVAC, RAC, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in air-conditioning maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• TESDA RAC Servicing NC II is required; NC III preferred.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC systems including split-type, window-type, and VRF/VRV systems.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, refrigerant handling, and leak detection.
• Familiar with electrical PMS, panel checking, and basic electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, PPE usage, and maintenance procedures.
• Must be amenable to working on shifting schedules (morning or evening).

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning, ventilation, and related electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
• Execute scheduled PMS, including cleaning of filters and coils, and checking electrical panels, controls, and connections.
• Respond promptly to HVAC-related service requests and FMS tickets.
• Monitor system performance (temperature, cooling efficiency, and abnormalities) and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Conduct routine, monthly, and quarterly inspections of HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and reports.
• Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and safe work practices at all times.
• Support emergency HVAC and electrical concerns, including system breakdowns and urgent repairs.
• Assist during major maintenance activities and coordinate with contractors when needed.
• Recommend necessary materials, parts, or system improvements based on recurring issues and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, maintenance procedures, and documentation standards.
