Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Testing Operator for the High Voltage GIS team in Savli, India. You will play a pivotal role in testing GIS components and driving reliable manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical fundamentals, hands-on testing experience, working knowledge of SAP and MS-Office, and good English communication skills. You will contribute to quality and continuous improvement in a global energy company.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with first class (above 60%).
• Proficient in English (spoken & written).
• Working knowledge of SAP and MS-Office.
• Electrical fundamentals with testing exposure and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement standard production/testing processes with supervisor collaboration.
• Develop or modify processes for repeatable, cost-effective manufacturing.
• Provide feedback on yield issues to supervisor.
• Meet daily production plan within cycle time and workload.
• Support new product introduction on manufacturing lines.
• Prepare test setup and protocols; maintain records.
• Assist in customer inspection activities and compliance with IEC/IEEE standards.
