Job summary

Sagility in the Philippines is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate, timely payroll for employees, in compliance with local labor laws. You will work with HR Operations and a payroll vendor to deliver correct pay and handle complex elements in a high-volume environment.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance or related field, strong detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while ensuring data integrity in Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Execute regular payroll runs in partnership with the local payroll vendor.
  • Own payroll calculations, validations, and reconciliations to ensure accurate pay outcomes.
  • Review and resolve payroll variances, errors, retro pay, and adjustments.
  • Validate payroll inputs related to hires, terminations, pay changes, allowances, and differentials.
  • Prepare, validate, and reconcile statutory contributions and reporting requirements, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG.
  • Ensure payroll processes remain compliant with Philippine labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits, inquiries, and documentation requests related to payroll and statutory filings.
  • Maintain and validate payroll-related transactions in Workday, including hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
  • Partner with HR Coordinators to ensure upstream data accuracy before payroll processing.
  • Monitor data integrity and elevate risks or discrepancies proactively.
  • Support employee payroll-related inquiries escalated from HR Operations or Employee Helpdesk.
  • Provide clarity on payroll calculations, deductions, adjustments, and timing.
  • Partner with HR Ops on final pay coordination for separating employees.
  • Support payroll activities for large hiring classes and frequent employee movement.
  • Manage tight payroll timelines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, and vendors to ensure seamless end-to-end payroll delivery.
