We are looking for a strong and hands-on Human Resources & Administration Manager who can establish effective HR policies and systems and, equally importantly, ensure that these are consistently implemented across the organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, firm but fair, comfortable handling difficult employee situations, and capable of balancing employee concerns with the operational needs and standards of the company.
Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Management
Lead the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including manpower planning, job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, and employee regularization.
Develop, review, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, employee guidelines, and internal controls based on the needs of the organization.
Ensure the consistent implementation and enforcement of company policies, including attendance, conduct, performance standards, and workplace rules.
Manage employee performance, including performance evaluations, probationary reviews, performance improvement plans, and coordination with department heads on employee development and accountability.
Handle employee relations and disciplinary matters, including investigations, documentation, notices, administrative hearings, and implementation of appropriate corrective or disciplinary action.
Maintain complete and updated employee records and HR documentation and ensure proper handling of confidential employee information.
Oversee employee compensation, benefits, timekeeping, and payroll coordination with Finance.
Manage employee separation and offboarding, ensuring proper clearances, turnover, documentation, final pay coordination, and compliance with company procedures.
Ensure HR practices and company policies remain compliant with applicable labor laws, government regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements.
Manage HR-related government registrations, reports, documentation, and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and records to support the company in the event of labor disputes, audits, or regulatory inspections.
Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations and facilities management of the company.
Establish and enforce systems for the proper management of company assets, office supplies, facilities, administrative expenses, and other company resources.
Coordinate office maintenance, administrative procurement, service providers, and other operational requirements.
Lead HR and administrative projects and company-wide initiatives as required.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on HR and administrative matters.
Work closely with department heads to identify and address manpower, performance, disciplinary, and organizational issues.
Provide management with sound recommendations on HR matters while taking ownership of the proper execution of approved decisions.
Provide HR and administrative support to the Chief of Staff and CEO as required.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Solid experience in HR generalist or HR management roles, preferably in a hands-on operating environment.
Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE requirements, disciplinary procedures, and HR documentation.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Experience handling employee relations, disciplinary cases, performance management, and difficult employee situations.
Strong judgment, organization, documentation, and communication skills.
Able to be firm, objective, and consistent in enforcing company policies while maintaining professionalism and fairness.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization where the HR Manager is expected to take ownership, make recommendations, and execute, rather than function solely in an advisory capacity.
