Job summary

SGS is seeking a Health, Safety and Pollution Control Coordinator to coordinate and monitor occupational health and safety programs, environmental compliance activities, and pollution control initiatives. The role supports HSE program implementation, risk management, incident prevention, environmental monitoring, and regulatory reporting to meet company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Safety and Health, or similar field.
• Relevant professional license, Pollution Control Officer accreditation, and occupational safety training are preferred or required when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor occupational health and safety programs and environmental compliance activities.
• Support implementation of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) programs and risk management.
• Oversee incident prevention initiatives, environmental monitoring, and waste management.
• Prepare regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with company requirements and standards.
