Job summary

Service One Corporation in Makati, Metro Manila, is seeking a Housekeeping Training Officer to design and deliver training programs for housekeeping staff. You will conduct orientation, refresher sessions, and hands-on coaching to ensure adherence to standards and safety protocols.

The role requires developing modules, assessing competency, coordinating with operations and HR, and maintaining training records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs, modules, and procedures for housekeeping personnel based on company and client standards.
• Conduct orientation and onboarding training for newly hired housekeeping employees prior to deployment.
• Provide refresher training and skills enhancement programs to existing housekeeping staff.
• Conduct practical and classroom-based training on proper cleaning techniques, housekeeping procedures, equipment operation, and appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Train employees on proper sanitation, hygiene, safety, and infection-control practices applicable to housekeeping operations.
• Demonstrate proper use, handling, storage, and maintenance of housekeeping equipment, tools, supplies, and materials.
• Assess the knowledge, skills, and competency of housekeeping employees through practical demonstrations, written assessments, and actual performance evaluations.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements when necessary.
• Conduct site visits and on-the-job coaching to ensure that employees properly apply the procedures and standards discussed during training.
• Coordinate with Operations, HR, Supervisors, and other concerned departments regarding training requirements, employee performance, and competency development.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance sheets, assessment results, certificates, and other related documentation.
• Prepare and submit training reports, including completed training activities, employee attendance, assessment results, and recommendations.
• Identify training gaps and recommend appropriate training interventions based on employee performance and operational requirements.
• Provide coaching and corrective guidance to employees who require additional training or improvement in specific housekeeping procedures.
• Ensure that training materials and procedures are regularly updated based on company policies, client requirements, operational changes, and industry standards.
• Assist in preparing employees for client-specific requirements, site orientation, and deployment standards.
• Respond to training-related concerns and provide appropriate assistance to supervisors and housekeeping personnel.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
